Parliamo italiano: Spheriq is now available in Italian as well

Italian is now the fourth language available on the Spheriq platform. In partnership with Fondazione cenpro, Spheriq is thus expanding access for the nonprofit sector in Italian-speaking Switzerland. The weekly Spheriq Update can also be translated directly into Italian. The first workshop in Italian is already planned.

Insieme—together—it’s easier: As part of the collaboration between Spheriq and Fondazione cenpro, the platform is becoming more accessible to Italian-speaking organizations. Fondazione cenpro contributes its experience and local network in Ticino, while Spheriq provides the digital platform and its tools for nonprofits and funding organizations. Language is a significant barrier to access, especially when it comes to digitalization: Spheriq’s digital solutions are therefore now available in Italian for organizations in Ticino.

A Fourth Language for Spheriq

In addition to German, English, and French, Spheriq’s content and features are now also available in Italian. The new language version marks another step forward in the collaboration with cenpro. The foundation supports organizations in Ticino in further developing their work and building networks, and thus understands the needs of the local sector. Spheriq provides the digital tools for funding organizations and nonprofits.

The Spheriq Update—the weekly newsletter covering current topics in the nonprofit sector—can also be translated directly into Italian with a single click. This gives Italian-speaking users easier access not only to the platform itself but also to the latest information and developments in the sector.

Teaching Knowledge in Italian

This collaboration goes beyond simply translating the platform. Together, cenpro and Spheriq will also offer the first online workshop on the application process in Italian on Friday, November 20, 2026. Spheriq will provide the content and materials for this popular workshop, which will be conducted in Italian by cenpro. During the workshop, Italian-speaking participants will get hands-on experience with the platform and receive an introduction to its key features.

With this move, Spheriq and cenpro aim to break down another barrier: the time and uncertainty that can be associated with the introduction of new digital tools. Organizations that have had little experience with digital solutions so far, in particular, should now have the opportunity to get to know Spheriq step by step—in Italian.

Pilot Project with the City of Lugano

The city of Lugano also supports access to Spheriq’s digital tools: Together with Fondazione cenpro, it offers a training program for organizations in the cultural and social sectors. Participants learn about Spheriq and discover how they can use the platform to find suitable funding partners. Following the training, participating organizations receive free access to a research station. This allows them to try out Spheriq directly and explore the platform’s various features.
