    Spheriq AI is started via so-called launchers, e.g. “Check matching” or “Find suitable funding foundations”. Launchers are predefined action buttons that are directly available in the respective work context, for example on an organizational profile, in a search, in a project or in the network. Users therefore do not have to formulate a perfect prompt first, but are guided in the use of AI. <\/p>\n\n

    A launcher always takes the current context with it and starts a suitable analysis. For example, if a user is on the profile of a funding organization, Spheriq AI can use this to check whether they are a suitable funding partner for their own organization. Conversely, Spheriq AI can provide information on its own profile as to which details should be added in order to improve visibility, trust and future matching. <\/p>\n\n

    After the first answer, you can continue working in the chat. Users can ask further questions, go into more detail, shorten, compare or derive concrete next steps.     What Spheriq AI specifically supports<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n

    At launch, Spheriq AI supports central tasks relating to fundraising, promotion, profile work and matching. This includes checking matching potential, evaluating and improving profiles and summarizing funding criteria. For nonprofits, the focus is on better orientation in the funding market. <\/p>\n\n

    An important use case is funding research. Based on your own organizational or project profile, Spheriq AI can find suitable funding organizations and explain why an in-depth review might be useful. Not only keywords are taken into account, but also structured information such as topics, target groups, impact areas and – where available – detailed funding logics. <\/p>\n\n

    Spheriq AI replaces the previous AI assistants “Project portrait from PDF”, “Cover letter for a specific request”, “Improve project portrait” and the popular “Magic List”. Corresponding launchers are available for all AI assistants. As before, the full AI functions are available from the Pro level upwards; Spheriq AI can be tried out with certain restrictions at the Free and Starter levels. <\/p>\n\n

    A concierge for Funder<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n

    For funding organizations, the focus is on the structured classification of organizations, projects and applications. As a configurable “concierge”, Spheriq AI can pre-check applications according to its own funding logic, make strengths and gaps visible and prepare the triage. In addition, the concierge creates an expert opinion that combines internal and external sources and consolidates them into a recommendation. <\/p>\n\n

    An important detail: the funding decision always remains with the individual. And: as each funding organization uses its own principles and assesses the individual elements individually, the concierge can also be configured independently for each funding organization. The Spheriq team is supporting Funder with a series of workshops to help set it up. <\/p>\n\n

    Fit, hope and funding logic<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n

    Spheriq AI works with orientation signals that are already stored on the platform. The “Fit” describes how well an organization, project or request matches certain criteria – such as topics, target groups or areas of impact. The “Hope” describes reliability signals that can help to better classify organizations and projects. <\/p>\n\n

    Spheriq AI also has access to detailed funding logics for over a hundred funding organizations, which have been carefully researched and processed by the Spheriq team over the past few weeks. They contain specific conditions to which funding is linked, any exclusion criteria, typical funding amounts and other special features of a funder. <\/p>\n\n

    In combination with profiles, badges and funding logics, this creates a stronger orientation framework. Spheriq AI supports users in gaining a better overview so that an organization, project or application can be comprehensively assessed. <\/p>\n\n

    Safe, specific and comprehensible<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n

    Spheriq AI was not built as a freely improvising chatbot, but as an agentic pipeline system. This means that the query is first classified, the relevant context is determined, available evidence is collected and summarized – and only then is an answer formulated. If the AI accesses documents, the results are presented together with the sources to which they refer. <\/p>\n\n

    The complex architecture is important because Spheriq works with sensitive institutional and sometimes personal data. Spheriq AI can only use information that is accessible to the respective user. Access is role- and context-based; the AI therefore sees no more than the users themselves. However, the pipeline is also important because it can check whether the question, data basis and answer really relate to each other before providing an answer. Spheriq AI does not go along with the euphoric promises of the AI hype. Instead of conjuring up mumbo jumbo, it prefers to say that it doesn’t know the answer when in doubt. So if information is missing, contradictory or inaccessible, Spheriq AI makes this clear instead of filling gaps with assumptions. <\/p>\n\n

    Data protection is also a top priority at Spheriq AI. The processing is designed in such a way that user data is neither passed on to hyperscalers such as Open AI (ChatGPT) or Anthropic (Claude) nor used to train AI models. The experiences of experts, practitioners, associations and over 70 funding and applicant organizations were incorporated into its development. The AI Learning Journey and the Funding Future Learning Journey <\/em>have laid the foundations for the sensible and responsible use of AI. Right from the start, the focus was on the concrete benefits in everyday life. <\/p>\n\n

    Ten selected launchers for particularly frequent workflows are available at the start. The range will then be continuously expanded in line with usage and feedback from the field. In particular, the monthly “Spheriq AI live” webinars will be used to exchange ideas with the sector and discuss requests and other use cases. In this way, Spheriq AI is growing step by step.
