{"id":16862,"date":"2025-06-27T16:43:29","date_gmt":"2025-06-27T14:43:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spheriq.ch\/blog\/automatic-donation-receipts-international-large-and-anonymous-donations-on-donationsswitzerland\/"},"modified":"2025-06-30T16:22:14","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T14:22:14","slug":"automatic-donation-receipts-international-large-and-anonymous-donations-on-donationsswitzerland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spheriq.ch\/blog\/en\/automatic-donation-receipts-international-large-and-anonymous-donations-on-donationsswitzerland\/","title":{"rendered":"Automatic donation receipts, international, large and anonymous donations on SpendenSchweiz"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>To remain successful as a donation platform, you have to respond to the changing needs of donors and offer them a home from which they can discover and support the many organizations and projects on SpendenSchweiz.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">With two important innovations, we are making donating on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spendenschweiz.ch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>SpendenSchweiz <\/strong><\/a>even easier, more personal and more efficient &#8211; and increase the number of potential donors and their contributions for the organizations we represent. <\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"automatic-tax-certificates\"  class=\"wp-block-heading\">Automatic tax certificates<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The most important change concerns the tax-relevant <strong>donation receipts<\/strong>. These are generally sent to donors by the beneficiary foundations after the end of the year. This means some additional work for both the foundations and the donors when numerous documents have to be collected from different organizations and submitted to the tax office. Supporters on SpendenSchweiz will now automatically receive a donation receipt from us by email as soon as we have transferred the donation to the donating organization. And registered donors can view a collective receipt for all donations made within a year on DonateSwitzerland as a PDF in their user account and download it for their tax return. The automatic tax receipt is available to all tax-exempt nonprofit users from the Starter level upwards. If desired, the automatic tax receipt can be downloaded at any time in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/app.spheriq.ch\/spenden\/bankinfo\">menu item &#8220;Bank info&#8221;<\/a><\/strong>      <a href=\"https:\/\/app.spheriq.ch\/spenden\/bankinfo\"> <\/a>can be deactivated.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"foreign-large-and-anonymous-donations-thanks-to-veriff-integration\"  class=\"wp-block-heading\">Foreign, large and anonymous donations thanks to VERIFF integration<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The second optimization of our donation platform concerns <strong>donations from<\/strong> <strong>abroad<\/strong> and <strong>donations over CHF 3000<\/strong>. In both cases, SpendenSchweiz was previously forced to exercise great caution by the Money Laundering Act and was correspondingly restrictive. By integrating the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veriff.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">VERIFF<\/a> verification solution, it is now possible to forward <strong>large donations<\/strong> and donations from abroad to organizations on our donation platform via SpendenSchweiz. Anonymous donations over CHF 3000 and\/or from abroad are therefore also possible if the person has registered and verified themselves accordingly. Users start the verification process via VERIFF in <a href=\"https:\/\/app.spendenschweiz.ch\/account\">their SpendenSchweiz account<\/a>. Verification takes place in just a few steps and is completely digital.
