With the second part of the Floral Wave release, we have further developed our platform in several areas. The aim is to provide a better overview, more targeted collaboration and more context in the third sector. The focus is on the new entry page for networks, the new evaluation module for funding management and expanded statistics functions. <\/p>\n\n

Networks – clearer, more collaborative, more efficient<\/h2>\n\n

The networks on StiftungSchweiz<\/strong> have been given a comprehensive makeover. With increasing use and ever more diverse use cases, one thing became clear: users want more structure, better orientation<\/strong> and even easier collaboration<\/strong>. This is exactly what we have responded to. <\/p>\n\n

New network categories<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Networks are increasingly becoming a natural part of work in philanthropy – whether for professional exchange, joint project work or internal organization. In order to meet these different needs, there is now a clear division into three categories: <\/p>\n\n

– Trend<\/strong> – networks in which current developments, information and inspiration about the non-profit world are collected<\/p>\n\n

– Exchange<\/strong> – digital spaces for dialog, networking and active collaboration among like-minded people and stakeholders with similar issues<\/p>\n\n

– Funding<\/strong> – networks for support and monitoring between funding recipients and funding organizations<\/p>\n\n

This new structure makes it much easier to find the right network for your own concerns<\/strong> – and to join in directly where relevant discussions are taking place or joint work is required.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to<\/strong> the three purposes, a new access category has also been added to the platform:<\/strong> Internal<\/strong> – protected networks for work within your own team or the Board of Trustees. This ensures that confidential information does not leave the protected environment at any time. <\/p>\n\n

Better collaboration thanks to new folder structure<\/h3>\n\n

Another major enhancement is the new option to organize documents thematically in folders<\/strong>. Whether minutes, reports, applications or annual reports – the materials can now be stored in a clearly structured way, just like in your own file system. This makes collaboration easier – both within your own organization and across organizations. The document storage provides specific support: <\/p>\n\n

This facilitates collaboration both within and across organizations.<\/p>\n\n

– the preparation of meetings of the Board of Trustees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– the overview of reporting and documentation of ongoing funding projects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– the clear archiving of decision bases<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– or the joint development of strategies and content<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

All relevant documents are centralized in one place and accessible to network members at all times.<\/p>\n\n

Outlook: Integrated board management<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Here’s a little preview: Before the summer<\/strong>, we will be rolling out another particularly practical feature in the form of appointment management. This will make the organization of meetings and internal coordination even easier: <\/p>\n\n

– Coordinate appointments<\/strong> and send out invitations<\/p>\n\n

– Hold video conferences directly in the network<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– Record, save and share logs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– Keep an eye on to-dos and milestones at all times<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

This turns a digital network into a real workspace<\/strong> that effectively supports day-to-day foundation or project work.<\/p>\n\n

Experience the new network overview<\/a><\/p>\n\n

More insight into the sector – thanks to the new comparison function<\/h2>\n\n

The statistics functions at StiftungSchweiz have been expanded. Organizations can now compare themselves with similar players and thus obtain valuable information on strategic fields of action and possible alliances. The basis for this is current statistical data from the sector, which is continuously aggregated and analyzed in comparison to the entire sector as well as to the 50 most similar organizations. Benchmarking will be activated as soon as at least 300 organizations participate. <\/p>\n\n

Take part now and contribute to the activation of the new comparison function.<\/a><\/p>\n\n

Delegating applications and simplifying external evaluation<\/h2>\n\n

With the new release, we have also expanded application management and made it even more flexible. You can now assign applications within your team more easily and also involve external experts in the evaluation process. This way, internal and external expertise becomes a seamless decision-making process. <\/p>\n\n

Thanks to the new “Evaluator:in” role, you can invite experts from outside your organization to evaluate individual applications. Simply via a link. The external perspective brings additional quality to your funding decisions and also supports modern approaches such as participatory grantmaking or the inclusion of a representative of the beneficiaries in the selection of funding projects. At the same time, you retain control: Evaluators only see the applications assigned to them and assess them based on predefined criteria that they determine themselves. <\/p>\n\n
